We are excited to celebrate World Book Day next week on Thursday 7^th March. Children and staff are invited to come to school and nursery dressed as their favourite book character or perhaps dressed as their favourite information book; if they can bring the book too, that would be amazing!

Our brilliant Reading Ambassadors will be visiting Waterstones book shop for a story time session and to collect enough World Book Day Books for everyone in school. A separate letter for parents of Reading Ambassadors will be sent home to gain consent for this visit.

We would like to invite all our families to join us for ‘Breakfast with Books’ on Thursday 7^th March from 8.40-9.15am in the school hall. This is a family time to enjoy a book and enjoy some delicious breakfast! We will have cereal and toast available for everyone for a small donation towards improving our school library. Nursery families are invited to join us too; parents will need to stay with nursery children until 9.15am please.
