What an amazing time we all had celebrating World Book Day. Thank you to all our families who joined us for ‘Books at Breakfast’ to share some food and our favourite stories together. We raised almost £50 for our school library which is fantastic. Thank you to Tesco Yeovil, for donating the breakfast food.
The Reading Ambassadors had a super trip to Waterstone’s Yeovil to enjoy a story time with Stewart and to choose their World Book Day books. They also collected enough books for everyone back at school and nursery to have one each to take home. We were very proud of their sensible walking and behaviour while we were out.
Nursery had a special visitor, Jeremy from Somerset Libraries, who shared some songs and nursery rhymes with the children to help celebrated World Book Day – thank you Jeremy.
Everyone made a super effort with their outfits and we had a great day exploring books, stories and talking about our favourite characters. We are already excited for next year!
