World Religion Day

World Religion Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in January each year. World Religion Day began in USA in 1950 and celebrates the importance of harmony and eople feel comfortable to unite together, whatever their faith. In assembly today we welcomed Pastor Matt and Hannah, Community Lead, from Southville Church to talk to the children. Matt shared photographs of the church and a video of events from over the year. The children enjoyed listening to the story of The Good Samaritan and we talked about how important it is to be kind and caring, wherever we are in the World and whatever our religious beliefs. Matt and Hannah were very impressed with how smartly the children sat in assembly and their excellent listening. We look forward to welcoming Matt and Hannah back next term.
